FARMINGTON HEALTHCARE CENTER CONTRACTS WITH MOBILE CARE GROUP

Sylvania, Ohio; February 7, 2012

Farmington Healthcare Center, a Five Star Quality Care long-term care facility, has selected Mobile Care Group (MCG) to coordinate the delivery of audiology, dentistry, optometry, and podiatry to their residents beginning March 1, 2012.

“Mobile Care Group’s one-stop-shopping model will enable our staff to streamline the services our residents need and want,” says facility administrator Jake Hiler. “As an added convenience, MCG’s practitioners will be able to deliver these services directly to our residents,” continues Hiler.

“Our model is a win-win situation,” commented Jim Wallace, MCG director of sales. “We contract with local doctors and schedule them to deliver healthcare services when they have availability. By doing so, we not only provide a needed service, we support the local economy," says Wallace. He adds, “We are more than just middlemen; we establish a partnership with facility staff and collectively deliver great clinical care!”

Farmington Health Care Center is a 124-bed skilled nursing facility recognized for its incredible rehabilitation services that maximize independence and recovery. The facility also provides skilled nursing, infusion therapy, and wound specialty services, and specializes Alzheimer's, ventilator-, hospice-, respite-, and long-term care.

CLEVELAND PODIATRIST STEPHEN CASTOR JOINS MOBILE CARE GROUP

Mobile Care Group (MCG) is proud to announce that established Cleveland area podiatrist, Stephen W. Castor, DPM, has joined Mobile Care Group effective February 1, 2012.

Dr. Castor is a 1996 graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and brings years of clinical care experience to the MCG provider team. He is former CEO of Universal Medical Administration (UMA) and has dedicated himself to providing exceptional care to the geriatric community in nursing home facilities and a variety of other settings in the Cleveland area and throughout Ohio.
