Joe Wallace has many years of experience in leadership positions including ownership in a company that successfully completed an Initial Public Offering. His entrepreneurial management style has produced many awards and recognitions for organizational and sales growth. Under Joe’s leadership the company has developed a broad portfolio of services and steadily grown market share in two states. His conservative fiscal attendance has ensured financial success. Joe is active in the community serving on various boards. He is currently the managing partner in Wallace & Nolan LLC, a private equity firm that holds an ownership position in our company.

Stan Freedman joined Mobile Care Group after an extensive career in public accounting. Serving as a partner in national and local CPA firms, he provided clients with auditing, tax and business consulting services. A Michigan CPA, Stan is a lifetime member of the American Institute and Michigan Association of CPAs. Active in the community, Stan has served as president of the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit and as a board member and treasurer for many non-profit organizations.

With more than a decade of medical billing experience, Rachel McGrady now focuses on working with our healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care. She holds several billing certifications, and is a credentialed medical billing specialist. Her professional background provides her with the expertise to manage the logistics involved in the areas of eligibility, scheduling, documentation, compliance, and operational processes.

Shelly Hutchison has over two decades of experience in the healthcare field, some of which have been devoted to sales and marketing. She also has extensive experience in individual and overall management of regions and remote sales staff. Shelly served as marketing director for a skilled nursing facility and as regional manager of business development for a home-health company. She ranks high in sales performance and has received recognition and numerous awards and accolades for her achievements. Her management and sales expertise are leading factors in the enormous success of our sales and customer-service teams.

With more than two decades of experience in information technology, finance, project implementation, and management, Jim's expertise lends itself well to our national delivery model. Jim has been with Mobile Care Group since its inception and helped develop the overall business model. Prior to joining Mobile Care Group, Jim was involved in process management for a leading communications company in North America. Jim is a magna cum laude graduate from Walsh College with a Master of Science degree in information management and communications. Jim’s attention to detail, great customer service follow-up skills, and in-depth knowledge of the long-term care industry, make him the ideal person to partner with Michigan-based nursing care facilities that want to grow their business.

With more than two decades of experience in the healthcare field, Karen Fanta has met the unique customer-service needs of nursing homes and helped build several medical practices. Her comprehensive understanding of healthcare also allows Karen to match skilled providers with the specific requirements of nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout Ohio. As the recently appointed Cleveland Senior Sales and Customer Service Associate, Karen will strengthen and expand the services MCG provides to people in central and northeast Ohio.

With nearly 14 years in medical billing, collections, and administration, Cindy Kirby’s comprehensive experience in healthcare benefits, appropriate pay sources, and billing systems uniquely qualifies her as an expert in medical billing and collection. Her knowledge of multiple healthcare disciplines, including proper billing codes and appropriate and required verification, results in highly accurate invoicing. Beyond Cindy’s skills in process management, documentation handling, and organization, she is also dedicated to providing quality customer service.

Josh Weinstein, MBA, RHIA – Manager of Health Information Systems

Josh Weinstein comes to Mobile Care Group with more than 10 years of experience in the information technology (IT) industry. Having worked for both large and small companies as an IT consultant and network administrator, Josh possesses the skills and experience that will take Mobile Care Group's information technology infrastructure to the next level. Josh holds a number of technical certifications and most recently passed the AHIMA certification exam to become a registered health information administrator (RHIA). To complement his degrees in information systems, he has earned a post-baccalaureate degree in health information administration from the University of Toledo. An entrepreneur by nature, Josh has also owned and successfully operated several IT and rental property businesses.

Eric McAllister has many years of experience working in the private ambulance and medical transport Industry. A certified instructor for safe driving courses, he holds multiple certifications including National Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT-B); National Academy Emergency Medical Dispatch (NAEMD-A); and Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO). Eric’s various initiatives and oversight of the Communications Center maximizes the efficiency of our fleet and has improved on-time performance. His attention to safety and customer service issues has positioned the company for growth in our medical and residential transport sectors.
Russell A. Maringer, OD, MS – Medical Director
Dr. Maringer earned his doctorate and graduated magna cum laude from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2004. In 2005, he pursued an interest in research and earned a Master of Science degree in vision science from Ohio State University. Dr. Maringer’s research interests included novel approaches to measuring astigmatism and wavefront aberrations as well as assessing amblyopic visual cortex with fMRI. In 2007, Dr. Maringer began working with Mobile Care Group to deliver optometric services to several nursing and rehabilitation facilities. In 2009, Dr. Maringer also joined Revision Surgery Center to further pursue his clinical interests – the use of cutting-edge technologies to correct refractive error and the treatment and management of glaucoma. He has a passion for patient education and enjoys helping patients understand their surgical options. He has served his profession as a zone governor and membership coordinator for the Ohio Optometric Association. Dr. Maringer has also participated in patient-advocacy programs such as the American Optometric Association’s InfantSee and Realeyes initiatives.
Walid Mahmoud, M.D. – Emergency Medical Director
Medical Director of EMS and Transport, Dr. Walid Mahmoud, is board certified in emergency medicine. He has worked as the flight physician on several Life Flight missions and currently serves as the assistant medical director of the emergency department at the University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC). As a UT associate clinical professor of core emergency medicine (EM), Dr. Mahmoud continues to share his knowledge and experience with a variety of students, including EM and surgical residents, firefighters, and paramedics. Special clinical interests include diagnostic and bedside ultrasound and difficult airway management issues.
